Focus & Attention
Aperture Dispatch
A good eye knows what to leave out.
Take the coastal picture desk for a day. Inspect illustrated contact sheets, read the editor’s brief and mark every photograph that belongs. Subjects, light, print tone and tiny flocks create close decoys; a second picture desk adds A/B rule switching. Twenty-four seeded briefs reward careful looking, not hurried clicking.
- 01Single brief
- 02Two desks
Made for a proper session.
- 24 briefs in four six-round chapters, with a fresh seeded contact sheet on each new edition
- Single brief uses one assignment; Two desks makes each A/B frame stamp choose the relevant rule
- Three depths: 9 frames with a single condition, 12 with paired AND conditions, or 20 with OR alternatives and later EXCEPT clauses
- Four illustrated subjects, daylight/moonlight, two labelled print tones and one to three birds; every visual detail also has text
- Untimed decisions, free changes before submission, optional guided frames with a visible 160-point cost, and an annotated result sheet
- Independent practice, pause, save/resume and completed-edition score and accuracy records with comparable-setting differences
- English and Simplified Chinese, keyboard and touch controls, original cover artwork and adjustable background music
A recreational attention game. Scores and record changes describe game performance, not health or a clinical assessment. No countdown or speed bonus.
