Memory & Thinking
Encore
A little music. A second chance to remember.
Take a seat in a little theatre. Study a phrase of notes, rests and held beats, then lower the curtain and rebuild it. Reprise recalls the original; Counterpart moves the entire melody by an announced number of scale keys while preserving its rhythm. Every sound has a clear visual equivalent, so music reading and hearing are optional.

- 02Counterpart
Made for a proper session.
- 24 seeded phrases per recital, in four progressive acts; three complexity settings grow from three to ten events
- Reprise combines note order with rests and short/held beats; Counterpart adds explicit up/down scale-key transformations
- Engraved visual scores, lettered and numbered keys, visible beat lengths and synchronized playback; hearing is optional
- Untimed study and free playback before recall; an independent three-note rehearsal leaves saved progress untouched
- Free undo and clear; extra looks and guided beats have visible score costs; no countdown or speed bonus
- Saved partial phrases and completed recital records, with numeric comparisons for matching settings
- English and Simplified Chinese, touch and keyboard controls, theatre artwork and adjustable background music; music pauses during phrase playback
A recreational memory game. Records describe game performance, not health. All musical tasks can be completed by sight, with sound turned off.
